I've always found that the best way to get information out of people is ,first to mention the item casually and then completely ignore it,if they mention it say that they shouldn't tell me that and before you know it they'll be dying to spill the gos.The more you tell people not to tell you something the more they want to tell you it.Try it and see but be subtle.

I never really had to try.... people just feel they can tell me everything... I think it's because of my nonchalant attitude at times... They know I don't care therefore they are more secure because they know it'll stay between me and them...
