Wasn't it rather strange that Dick Cheney had been given the job to find a suitable running mate for George W. in 2000?

And isn't it even stranger yet that Dick Cheney claimed that he couldn't find anyone suitable, but let George W. know that he was available for the slot?

Something is rotten about this from the start.

Yes.

But Cheney had to be a VP in order to run the country. And he had to find a puppet Pres that would allow it to happen. GW was his "man".

Cheney would have never won the seat himself. . .

Cheney makes no diff really one way or the other. George Duhhbya is doing a fine job all by himself of making a fool of himself and his office.

Rotten you say? The whole bunch of them is rotten to the core.

Mr. Cheney picked himself. And now Bush is shopping the commander-in-chief job around. Pitiful.

No, it would not have made a difference. He would still have made the bone headed moves he did. He was hell bent on creating his own legacy. Cheney just helped it along ( right over a cliff)

Your right Bush and Chaney are rotten to the core, and the worst part no one has a plan to get rid of them.

Huh? George sits on Dick's knee and if you look closely you can see Dick's lips moving ever so slightly when George "speaks". So who's in charge again?

I think that the country would have fared better if Bush hadn't been given the job in the first place.

But that's just me and like, 75% of the country.
