Mike Williams was a stud at USC and u can say he was a bit of a dud in Detroit. Can ex USC cordinator and new Oakland Raider head coach Lane Kiffin get him back in his prime form?

If Kiffin's season goes like his 1st day of the draft - you guys are in for a big year.

Lots of options, clever use of trades and picks, and already I think the Raiders are 100% better than last year (Russell and the new TE Miller are points on the board).

I think Kiffin only has one headache left and there is a big chance that Williams may take that spot on the roster, leaving Moss on the market for a pick tomorrow or next year...

You're obviously a Raiders fan, so I'll just disillusion you now. There shouldn't be any expectations for Williams in O-town.

He was a perfect fit for the offense at USC, but he'll always have a lot of trouble getting open in the NFL. I think him and McCown were a good deal together for a 4th round pick, but I'm not sure that Mike Williams will ever be more than a #3 or #4 receiver because he has trouble getting anywhere close to being open against NFL CBs.

What I would do if I were on the Raiders coaching staff is that I would have Williams gain a little weight, and I would try him out at TE. He might be a lot more successful at getting open against LBs and safeties instead of trying to beat CBs, so he might work as a NFL tight end even though he can't do much at WR.

No. For one thing he does not work hard and is constantly overweight which puts him a position to fail right off the get go. Also he does not seem to be mature enough to handle the N.F.L.

In college he was just a big guy who could use his body to get the ball every time but that was about it. He does not have much speed and does not work hard. I expect him to be just as bad, if not worse, for Oakland.

That depends entirely on the Raiders offensive line's ability to keep their new quarterback, JaMarcus Russell on his feet long enough to throw Mike Williams the ball.

Do you have some inside information of Williams going to Oakland?

Mike Williams is such a lazy fat slob they may use him at tight end or offensive lineman. He and Jamarcus are a good pair.
