No, you're right _those two are top of the pile when it comes to Satans.
Though I did watch a film centred around a guy in a mental hospital, with a female journalist type character, and he kept trying to kill himself so that Satan couldn't possess him and get out into the world:his character was really nice and sympathetic, and the fem. journo. just had to help him, and try and convince him he wasn't Satan, until right at the end, when it turned out he was right, but it was too late.
The moral of the story being, Satan is a really nice guy, just up to the second that he gets you!!
Of course this portrayal wasn't as much fun as the all knowing, self aware Satan, who sticks his finger in the font, just to see the water boil!

Not Jack Nicolson. He is way too cheesy. Always the same. Boring. Why anyone would have any loyalty to him in The Departed is a total mystery.
Robert De Niro played Louis Sifer in Angel Heart and was quite convincing when revealed he was the devil/satan, without going over the top.

Robert DeNiro. Cant remember the name of the movie but it was in New Orleans and starred Mickey Roarke and Lisa Bonet. I think it was a late 80s movie.
