First time in Mexico, want something that has a lot to offer that is also safe, fun, and keep us out of trouble.

Dreams Resort and Spa Cancun is getting great reviews on tripadvisor. it's located in a good location, close to the clubs and shopping. Is surrounded by water on three sides. It's all-inclusive, no band to wear on your wrist, no reservations needed for the restaurants, no beach/towel key for towels. In a couple of weeks they will be opening their dolphin aquarium. 6 dolphins will be a living at this resort. The food is good and the service is exceptional. If you're going to Cancun, the Palace Resorts is the best. Awesome food, beautiful rooms, great pool and lobby areas, easy to book outer trips to the ruins, snorkeling, scuba, etc. from the lobby. There are four Palace Resorts in Cancun, named things like Ocean Palace, Royal Palace, etc. (Maybe not those exact names but you get the point). You get a wristband at check-in and this allows you to go to any of the other three resorts for snacks, meals, liquor, activities, pool use, etc. They are up and down the 'strip' and easy to locate. I had a blast!
