I have XP, I don't think I want to get Vista.

I got a new laptop with Vista about 1 month ago and I totally HATE it!! It came with the Home Basic edition. Maybe the premium is better but I am not willing to take the chance and spend all that money to upgrade. I have tried to get used to it but it is slow, it locks up and it's not compatible with a lot of software and hardware. I keep going back to the old laptop with XP (which I am using right now). I would not recommend it to anyone. XP is by far the best I have found. I have used every version from Windows 95 right on up and definitely prefer the XP.

I have Vista, and it's crap, don't bother. I have been trying to load XP for 3 days.

For apps that require Windoze, like Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc...I use XP...for everything else I use Linux....
I have seen Vista, I have a Developers copy, I do not like it. for all the pretty things they added, they made it a memory Hog, which is why most people will have to upgrade their hardware to use it...
I'm way tired of playing Bill's game....
