P = 1/V

P1V1 = P2V2

PV = constant

These are all expressions of Boyle's Law: The volume of a gas is inversely related to the pressure of that gas.

Boyle's Law states that: "The volume of a given mass of gas is Inversely Proportional to its Absolute Pressure at Constant Temperature".
Pressure increase →Volume decrease.
Volume increase → Pressure decrease.

P1/P2 = V2/V1... cross multiply to give: -

Relationship: P1 x V1 = P2 x V2
