no...i think we need a third one...i think the US would be off better if the government would separate media corporation so they can't excerpt so much influence...such as separate companies such as cable, local stations, movie, Internet, software, etc.

In theory, yes.

But if there were no party affiliations, then anyone that wanted to run for president could, and would end up on the ballot. So think of all those that "throw their hat into the ring" to run, and there being no decision from each party as to who will represent. You could be going into the booth on election day in 2008 with a five paged ballot of names for president.

Not really, it's the Washington, D.C. "sleepovers" which cause most of the problems. We do need a minimum of two to accomodate the conservative and liberal views, but actually could benefit with a truly in-between our present "bi-polar" extremist representatives. The more moderate people are being "lost in the sauce" of entirely too much gravy on our steak and potatoes and being deprived of states rights as well as federal guarantees of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

No, although the 2 major parties are bad, most Americans can't really do the research to understand the candidates and the issues. They know which fit their values and are closest to their beliefs. If we all did more research and understood the issues better, I think it would be ok.

I would favor MORE major political parties. The Democrats and Republicans are whores to the corporate elite. I am sick of voting for GOOD candidates who aren't advertised like tubes of toothpaste.

Yes and I wish we could put that to a national VOTE!

I vote for the person without party considerations. However, the choices are TOO FEW.

the difficulty is that maximum individuals of human beings in usa like political events i be attentive to folk who vote completely in line with social gathering, and that they do no longer do ANY study on who the candidate is in the previous they forged their vote i think of politics could be greater proper if human beings have been inspired to make knowledgeable, nicely concept out judgements somewhat than basically say "Oh he's from this social gathering, i'll vote for him"
