There is a time for grief and there is a time for fond remembrance. When you get together with friends and acquaintances is a good time to remember the good times and fun times with the deceased and you are able to laugh about sharing the those fond and funny moments. This helps in dulling the grief with what a good person they were and how lucky you were to know them. Then at the funeral you can release all your grieve and yet feel good afterwords cause you know other persons appreciate the deceased too.

I am still going through that right now someone died very close to me last year and It still feels like it happen yesterday. And it's really hurtful when you saw them the day before they died or minutes before. It takes time to heal from that.Just pray and ask God to give you strength to accept it and whenever you feel like crying let it out it helps.

As time goes on I remember more the times we had together and not just the end. I think time helps a lot.

By understanding that you carry them in your heart and your memory for all time. By remembering all the time that you spent with them creating precious memories and cherishing those memories. By honoring all the days that they lived rather than the one day that they died. By feeling the love that you had for one another.

I try to hold it all inside.
Until it burst out taking the form of tears.
After that i turn to my faith for comfort.
