Emotionally, it is nearly impossible to process such a horrible event. Sometimes people react in stages such as denial, anger, humor and blaming. This is a normal chain of reaction to tragedy towards the acceptance of the event.

I do understand that you are angry. It is a normal inital reaction to something so horrible and senseless. Be careful, however, not to let anger build up inside you because it is very erosive. Each of us must learn to forgive those who have hurt, used and abused us.
The reason that Cho Seung-hui committed all those murders is anger. He had anger dating back to when kids teased and bullied him. He was jealous of those more affluent than he. He built up the anger, resentment and rage in his heart until he hatched a gruesome fantasy to go on a rampage.
He could have chosen to forgive all those who had hurt, used or abused him and then he would have been free of the ruminations of rage that coursed through his brain.
The school/workplace shootings will not stop until people learn to forgive. It is anger that destroys a person not headlines that give them inspiration.
It is anger coupled with hopelessness. Such a person feels that there is no other alternative. It is the only way to feel relief from the anger.
Anger, rage, resentment. Feeling that everything is unfair, unjust, hopless. Ruminating. Not being willing to forgive and let go. Envy, jealousy and more rage.
Now contrast that with a person who is able to forgive others, forgive everone who has ever hurt, used or abused them.....that person will have the fruit of the spirit....love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, temperance and faith.
No one can control the bad things that happen to them. However, anyone can control the way he handles it.
If a person struggles with anger and depression he can seek help from a religious counselor or psychologist.
Cho Seung-Hui was picked on, pushed around and laughed at over his shyness and the strange way he talked when he was a schoolboy.

People get dumped on every day but they do not become mass murderers, they learn to cope. It is part of growing up.
Bullying may have caused Cho to detach from from society and internalize anger/pain/hate to the point of insanity.
***Life is not fair. ***
A person can only control his own reaction not what other people do to him. You know... the serenity prayer....
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time.
The people who go through 12-step programs learn to cope with all their problems because of learning that principle.
Soooo many people tried to help Cho. He would not let them.
Lucinda Roy, the Director of Creative Writing, urged him to go to counselking ....but he would not go.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2007...
“I kept saying, ‘Please go to counseling; I will take you to counseling,’ because he was so depressed,” Roy said. But “I was told [by counselors] that you can’t force anybody to go over ... so their hands were tied, too.”
Cho snapped from HIS reaction to adversity. He ruminated. He felt he deserved to be treated better. Only for Cho were the killings necessary. He was unwilling to forgive and he got to the point where he needed to release his anger.

Israel is the concern right here and no one seems to comprehend that. This recent around of bombing and war via the Israelis replaced into no longer brought about via Hezbollah's seize of two Israeli infantrymen and a few missiles fired into Israel. this is the excuse that the Israelis use, and any excuse will paintings for them and the U. S. will lower back them no rely what. the actual clarification for this situation did no longer take place a week or so in the past. It replaced into no longer brought about, as George Bush keeps stupidly asserting, via Hezbollah's recent acts. the actual reason exceeded off in 1917 whilst the British issued the Balfour statement which suggested that "His Majesty's government view with favour the enterprise in Palestine of a countrywide homestead for the Jewish human beings..." This set in action the series of activities that led as much as the Zionists destroying over 4 hundred Arab villages and cities in 1948 on my own. The inhabitants have been the two killed via the Jews or pushed off their land. you will pay attention references to this made via Palestinian and Arab spokesmen specifically circumstances yet no one from Israel or the U. S. is prepared to talk it. until eventually there is an admittance via Israel and the U. S. that Israel's genocidal and violent acts are the reason of the concern there is not any longer a answer. The Israelis would particularly proceed to apply US taxpayer money to kill off Arabs than to discover a answer for peace.
