Floweasy, Lowe's sells it. If you can't find that just look for something with concentrated or virgin sulphuric acid in it. About $8 a quart. As a suggestion tho, try a plunger first.

I've always used "Liquid Plumber" commercial, and it's worked fine. The problem most people have with these chemicals is they don't follow direction or wait the length of time required. We did some tests and the Liquid Plumber will dissolve hair and other particles if you follow directions. You can get it at Home Depot, at the same time pick up a shower guard to stop hair from going into the drains.

You probably have an accumulation of hair in the trap. Get some single strand wire of the type used for hanging pictures on the wall and make a 1/8" hook in the end. Stick it down the drain and snag the hairball. Although what you pull up will be gross, this is a surefire way to clear the trap.

Pull the trip lever off and pull out the mechanism this is where most of the hair gets caught. If that still doesn't work put a few inches of water in the tub and try an old fashioned plunger over the drain.

Pour 1 cup of salt (table salt, rock salt, any kind) and 1 cup of baking soda down the drain. Follow with a kettle of boiling water. For best results, don't use the drain for several hours. If you need a stronger product, use 2 tablespoons of washing soda (you can get this wherever laundry products are sold) dissolved in 1 quart of hot water and pour it slowly down the drain. Flush with hot water after 10 minutes.
To maintain your drains flowing freely put 1/2 cup of baking soda down the bathroom drain and follow with 1/2 cup undiluted white vinegar. Close the drain and wait 30 minutes then flush with water. Do this monthly to keep the drain clear.
