What solution have you offered to fix all the problems you feel Bush has caused? I hear a lot of blame and name calling.. But I rarerly hear any kind of logical strategy offered up by anyone on the left.. So will you live by the words that your Great Leader once spoke?

Perplexe: If WE relied on the government for everything WE wouldn't be a free country! WE have a duty to make sure our Government is being ran the way WE want it to be. So if WE see something that needs fixed, It's up to US to write our congressmen, Senators and elected officals to fix them. So it doesn't end with the elections. WE also have the responsibility of proposing new laws, regulations and idea's to our elected politicians. So YOU are incorrect......

OK you want some solutions.
1. Begin a phased withdrawal of all infantry in Iraq. Start with the men on the ground. First wave would include 30% of all infantry brigades. Second phase should include another 30%. Third phase would include the remainder of them along with a withdrawal of Air Force and Naval personnel. These withdrawals would take place over at least one year's worth of time with the first and second withdrawals not taking more than 8 months. The withdrawal would not include any logistics personnel only field personnel who remain on the front lines. Logistics and intelligence personnel would remain to help stablize the government and train the Iraqi soldiers. However, the government would only pay for the salaries and equipment needed to support US personnel, not security and military forces needed by the Iraqi government.
2. Start a major influx of recruiting intelligence personnel to disperse across the world, primarily Middle-East groups and regimes. The US has lack of intelligence right now and thus has a disadvantage of trying to stop any major attack by a covert group. Most of these terrorist groups organize in the shadows. They are not going to present formal declarations of war because they don't have to, they are not a government. The best thing to do is to get US intelligence into these organizations and find out what is going on before it happens.
3. Repeal all the tax breaks. This country has huge debt that is going to have to be paid back. And with Wolfowitz on the hot seat in the World Bank, we cannot continue to depend on lower than expected interest rates on loans from them. The extra revenue would help to payback the national debt and get America's credit and futures looking better on the global economy. It would also help stop the bleeding that the dollar has been taking for the past 5+ years.
4. Stop the President's fast track policy with regards to trade. The checks and balances system was developed to oversee what each branch of government does. Besides, it has become apparent with all the things that have come out with this administration that maybe it is too overtasked.
5. Stop the "no child left behind" garbage. All it has done is required the schools to teach their children what they need to know to pass a specific test so the school can get its federal funding. Instead, I believe that children should be encouraged to participate in real life exercises that would help them apply what they learn in school instead of regurgitating it back out on to a test.
6. Balance the budget. This country cannot continue to put off our debt for future generations to figure out. If Clinton could do it with a Republican Congress that was in the process of impeaching him, then Bush should be able to do it with this Congress.
7. Start a world wide tour to some of these country's that have begun to alienate America. Taking a hardline stance with a government regime that does not have much support in the world is one thing, but to do it with a country like Russia is just plain stupid. America is not the big kid on the block anymore. Now more country's are taking advantage of the globalized economy to try and take resources and income away from America.
8. Instead of using name calling and finger pointing to get things changed in the U.N., let's try being more tactful. The U.N. is not going to bow down before America and submit to publicly calling them out, even if it is true.
9. Make social security separate form the government budgeters. By that I mean, social security should not be there for politicians to dip in when their budget for another area is low. It should be its own institution that should be overseen by the government. Consequently, Americans should only be able to get from social security what they put in, no more. Socail security should be what it was intended to be, a supplemental retirement program so that people would not be left with nothing when they retired.
10. Strengthen the borders and encourage the boder patrol to enforce the laws that we have. Give ICE the budget and resources we need to begin a process of raids and crackdowns on employers that hire and smuggle illegal aliens into the country and send them back. If anything needs to be fast tracked, it is the process for returning illegals back to their country. Also, if Mexico continues to support the migration of illegals from their countyr to ours, we need to look at ways such as tarrifs to stop that from happening. All money transactions from America to Mexico should be taxed. We shoud also increase the amount of fines levied against businesses and illegals who break the law to help pay for the extra INS and border patrol agents.
I am also not a fan of the WTO, NAFTA, and CAFTA as these agreements do not help the US economy. Instead they serve to bleed America's middle class out of jobs and affordable living. I would suggest to Congress that we go back to the bargaining table with these members and if they are not willing to compromise, then we think about pulling out of them.

First of all, you have to understand that politicians (whether they be Republicans or Democrats) are all on the same side. It Makes absolutely no difference whatsoever, what side they CLAIM to be on, that is all smoke and mirrors. They are NOT on the side of the people in any way shape or form, they are ONLY on the side of the Globalist Elite, and their New World Order agenda! So you cannot blame either the ordinary Libs, or the Ordinary Cons for any of the real problems facing this country, in any other way except for complacency and/or failure to listen and research and find out what these people
(The Elite) are really up to and really capable of! Bush is certainly a player, and he is to blame, but he is not solely to blame. They are all to blame. The only thing ordinary people can possibly do to help this country and this world, is to research the truth, and then spread the word to try and wake up as many people as we can. The problem with your question is that "we" are not suppose to come up with solutions. That's what we elected officials to do. What sense would it be if we had to elected government officials and solve the country's problem as well. What the heck would we need them for, if that was the case.

lets start pulling troops out, lets protect our boarders, lets use the money we've been using to kill people to help our impoverished (especialy in LA) citizens, lets make more allies instead of enemies,.....
