please do not make your children hate you by picking out some bizarre name or a name w a weird spelling. sounds like you have two great, unique-(but not bizarre!) names picked out. i have a friend who named her little girl Cherish, and while it may seem sweet now, what is she going to feel like when she is 30 or 40 and people are still calling her cherish like a baby? i personally think it is hideous, but didn't tell this friend so, b/c they had already signed the birth cert. so i was just as supportive as i could be. incidentally, she is adorable!
i know someone else who named their child nevaeh, (like newvayuh) b/c it was heaven spelled backwards!!!!
I think that brody and kiera are great names. go with your gut, their your kids!!!
ps/please don't name you child cheese like someone else suggested.

They are both nice. The only thing I would suggest is a name that is spelled correctly and simple to pronounce. Kiera is a hard one because no matter how it's spelled there is bound to be confusion. Kyra/Kiera/Kira or Kiara/Kiera/Keairah. For that reason I would not consider that name, but if you like it the best by all means use it!!
The names I'm listing aren't incredibly rare and maybe not even unique enough, but by unique and the choices of your other two names what I think you mean is you don't want names that are extra popular right now. So I tried...
So for boys, along with Brody here are a few suggestions:
Kieran (since it's simple & easy to pronounce :-) )
Braden
Corbin
Girls:
Kaya
Calista

Here are some cool Ideas and facts
How to create a unique baby name
Convert existing words. Examples of converted words are Ebony, Nova, Sapphire and Jade.
Invent new unique names by taking the hybrid approach. Take two existing names and conbine the two in an unusual fashion. Use of family Surnames would be a good starting point, not forgetting Maiden and Middle names.
Unique punctuation - Create a totally unique name by making unusual use of punction such as the placing of an apostrophe, a hyphen or a middle Capital Letter.
Alternative Spellings - An easy way to create unique baby names. A good example is Ryann or Delyia.
Convert Place Names - created from the place of birth, for example, Dallas or Brooklyn
Convert Colour names - created from different colours, for example, Gray or Azure
Flower names - created from different flowers, for example, Daisy or Columbine
Characteristic names - created from different characteristics, for example, Patience
Inspirational names - created from inspirational themes, for example, Hope or Glory
Some unique names I like is Cayce, Kayden, Bradyn........

I think you should go w/ the names you picked. Seriously!!! Both of those are awesome names.
Some of the crap people are suggesting here as "names" will only succeed in giving your child a lifetime of mockery and "how do you spell that again".
Your child is going to be unique enough- you don't have to name him Raisin Bran or Jaeylynn Mac'Kenna to prove that!
I suggest you look at this site:
