All of the hotels, clubs, restaurants and casinos in Vegas in and around the Strip and Fremont St. are first class. However, there are some seedy hotels in the less desirable areas of town. But 99% of what you will see on the Strip is the best of what you will get anywhere in the world.

The definition of tacky =
1.In poor taste
2.Of poor quality
3.Inferior
4.Cheap
The Wynn, Mandalay Bay, Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Venetian, Mirage hotels in Las Vegas are the furthest things from the word "tacky" that I can possibly think of. Yes there are some tacky buildings in vegas but if you want tacky try LA or Hollywood Blvd in general.
Vegas is an amazing town, the real city that never sleeps, party central; Dont believe then go see for yourself :)

Las Vegas is NOT "tacky" ! Show some respect for the greatest city on earth. And hell yes, it's THE ULTIMATE party town !!

It's a great place to party when coming to visit but, to live here is tacky, wacky and not a good place to live, all the glitz and glamour is for the tourist because they only see whats on the strip or in the casino's living here is a totally different story. As for party town, no,every one seems to be a meth addict or some kind of drug. They will rip u off in a minute. a bunch of scammers, con artist, both male and female. "Sin City" is the perfect name for this God for saken place.

you silly rabbit, Trix are for kids. Of freakin course Vegas is the BEST party town---not tacky at all overall, however you can choose to make your vacation there as tacky as you'd like. That's the beauty of it--now go, GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I have been a resident of Las Vegas for almost a year now, Its the best city in the world when you want to have a good time. Trust me.

Vegas is AWESOME. If you are young and hip, try the Palms. It is the hot new place for young people. If you are looking for the "old style" Las Vegas, go downtown and have some fun walking/playing on Fremont street.
