Please don't make me answer this question.
If you are truly mourning your cat, then my condolences.
But this story is almost too good to be true.
Could it be that he committed suicide because he wanted a life of his own?
To sleep without the fear of being rolled over upon?
To enjoy a solitary bath without your prying eyes?
Just once to have a quiet meal alone, or with friends of HIS?
To get out of the bathroom when the fumes are nearly overwhelming?
Sorry, I hope this lightened things a bit. Our pets are family, but they don't have to share everything with us. Give yourself an appropriate period to mourn, and then next week go to the animal shelter for your next victim.

Wow, that is really sad and I feel for ya. I have heard of cats doing this sort of thing before. Don't blame yourself. I know this sounds glib, but get a new kitten right away and give her the love you gave your other cat. She's not a replacement but it will take your mind off your loss. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I don't think you're serious, cats don't know the meaning of suicide, and I'm sure you didn't make your cat take a bath with you as he would have scratched you to death, and I'm quite sure you did not drag him to the bathroom with you. I do not find this funny at all

no you shouldn't there is a reason why your cat is still alive if he was meant to die he would have died in the washer.let him die when he time comes. think about it why would you help the one living thing that loves you is there for you when you have had a bad day. i mean look at it this way when things go wrong for you remember that if your cat can survive thur all that crap you can survive thur anything

hummmm maybe get a new cat ? Try not to be so needy as cats are independent animals and like to own you ,not you own them. Sorry for your loss.

Have him stuffed. No more messy cat's pan to clean. See, there's a silver lining to every cloud!
