Wii or PS3. This one really boils down to preference. First ask yourself what you can afford. If money is not an issue, don't make it an issue in your consideration. Second, are you running a HDTV in your house that can support the full 1080p? If you cant, I would suggest NOT getting the PS3 as you will be paying an extra high premium for no real gain. Third, what games do you want to play. Compare games and figure out which console will have more games for you to play on launch day.
If you want to get a Wii with more spending cash instead. Personally I'm getting a Wii just because I am banking on a better game playing experience. I like games just because they are fun, not because they simulate reality and take me to another realm... even though non graphic games can do that as well.

Wii when it first came out is still slightly better, but give it a few more months ps3 will be better after the new controller and games get old, and ps3 has games coming out like Tekken 6 and Devil May Cry 4.

playstation 3, better graphics soon to have good games like warhawk and assasins creed, also blu ray and now you can also buy playstation 1 games for the ps3 on the playstation store.

I've never played the PS3 before, but my brother has the Wii. I love it, but I have to try my hardest not to break the t.v. or hit anyone around me. Hahaha.

Wii...hands down...and up, and over....
I like it better because it requires actual physical activity and you can be an awesome boxer/golfer/bowler, using way less effort than the real sport.
It's just more fun I think.

Wii loved it you can get up and play like your actually throwing a ball i thought it was awesome
