Iron Maiden or Motorhead are some amazing old school metal bands.
Dream Theater i would have said was the best because of their amazing musical talents but I just found a future best band ever in DragonForce, amazing guitar, bass, drums, and even good vocals. Look THEM UP!!!!!!

Led Zepplin with Black Sabbath as a close second, Zepplin is classic from generation to generation, I had all the cassettes, ( showing my age, started with albums, then 8 tracks) and my then (15 yrs ago) 16 yr old son borrowed them and never returned them. I went on to buy the CD's which my youngest son 14 borrowed and has failed to return, waiting for my grandaughter to borrow them from her dad. Gotta love Zepplin.
