I would say advanced, one of the advantages of not doing anything in life, you have lots and lots of time to learn to cook. And I hate it when pasta is not al dente, lol.

Knowing how and actually being able to do something are two different things ... LOL. I know what most of those terms mean, and I could probably do any of them if a recipe called for it, but I don't do it on a regular basis. Mostly I just don't like to fix something that requires a great deal of preparation. I guess I'd consider myself an "Advanced" cook, but probably fall somewhere between "Intermediate" and "Advanced."

In between intermediate and advanced, but all the food in the house right now is Beginner, so it looks like mac and cheese tonight.

intermediate

but in my defense I'm only 20 and my entire life my mother has prepared my meals. When I moved out over a year ago I had to learn to cook- trust me it wasn't pretty but now I've gotten really good! Everyone loves my baking and cooking!

Id be advanced according to you but imo Im closer to intermediate. I can prepare things w/o a recipe but am fairly new to the real meal cooking world.
