I just got a home phone number and apparently they gave me a number that was disconnected a few days before so I've been getting 30-45 calls a day of wrong numbers!!!!! It's very frustrating. I've had to yell at bill collectors because they will not listen when I say this is not the number they want. etc etc etc.
Very frustrating.
I only answer to numbers I know now.

Yeah there are 12 people in my family and only me and my Dad don't have a mobile phone, so whenever the house phone rings I know it's for me, when I hear it ring I pretend I'm asleep. I had a mobile for a few months but I got sick of people contacting especially my girlfriend who would just yell and say "Where the hell are you?" so I gave it to one of my sisters

I work in an office and hear the phone ringin all day long.. I HATE PHONES!
So as soon as i get home i turn the answer machine on and refuse to answer the phone...

Yes at times so I put it on answer machine for an hour and then check later and guess what, nine times out of ten no sod rang!

yep, after work that stupid thing will ring every 30 seconds - i don't need to worry about whomever is on the other end when i have my children to hang out with and dinner to make.

I just get tired if this annoying one in the basment...
When it rings, I pick it up and SLAM it back down on the receiver...

yes....im having this problem where this moron calls my house 7 times per day...and leaves no message what so ever.... or if i pick the phone up...he says nothing....
im tired of my phone ringing yes...so tired......... that i unpluged it :P
