Why newly created websites remain dead for years?

► Do you mean dead as in no visitors?
If there are no visitors, it's because they have not advertised it properly. People will only find websites if they are added to google, yahoo, etc. If you are thinking of making a website, then i suggest using "add me" to add it to a lot of search engines:

►Or dead as in they aren't updated?
Websites take a long while to develop, so you will find that web designers buy the domain name, so that it becomes theirs and no-one else can buy it. That way it is ready for when they complete their site and finally upload it.

Hope this helps!

I blame the economy and the lying media. People now have to pay their bills with two jobs and take care of their children.

Most people who have the time to post are usually teachers on their time off or those who are in government sector jobs that offer a lot of benefits so they live in a little bubble that is far different then what most of us live in

The internet is now mostly commercial and not as fun as it was 10 years ago at it's height of creativity.

Now with phones being more popular then PC's and laptops you cannot really MAKE anything but most people only care about social media apps and are being led like sheep to slaughter.

It's all a silent take over of America and Western Nations. There isn't going to be a major fanfare when martial law comes. It will be a little at a time.

America and Western Europe the countries that haven't fallen apart are not only out of time but are living on borrowed time. Tick tock tick tock.
