Yes, I have been in contact with the company. All efforts have been useless. I live in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York and was wondering if anyone knows of a good scooter mechanic in my area. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. I thank you all in advance for your assistance.

Does the engine have a fuel switch? It may need to be switched from off to on, or if it is on it may have a 'prime' setting. I think with a motor this size, it should only have on/off if that. Have to look at the ridiculous first...

Also, priming the carb with a little fuel or even safer, some starting fluid, available at any parts store, might be all you need to get this thing turned over the first time. (only use a little)

Clean the carburetor. Bikes are test ridden after assembly. Then all fluids are drained for transport. Some gasoline is left in the carburetor. Gasoline goes bad after sitting for a few months. When you first try to start the engine, any bad gas in the carburetor gets sucked into the jets and clogs them.

"All efforts have been useless" . . not knowing what you have already tried (can't read your mind), if you are getting spark when grounding the removed plug, try spraying a few cc's of gas in the spark plug hole (might take more than once). If a 150cc, check valve lash . . .004 inches cold on both intake and exhaust.
