A "SHELLPAR" icon showed up on my desktop. Can I remove it?

Hi. "Shellpar" is short for shell parameters. You can delete it to the recycle bin and see it everything still works OK. It should. You probably have "Sow all hidden files" enabled, but that is just a guess. Vista?
