Do you think humans live in a false reality, like the matrix or Allegory of the Cave. Humans do not have the same senses as animals. So could our lack of senses be hindering us from seeing the truth?

Yes, one can possibly be his own obstacle in understanding the realitiy (ies) he's living in. But the key word there is "possibly". You are all powerful actually to not only understand your reality but also define it for yourself.

The reality that we live in is not false, it is simply incomplete, or not the whole of reality. The reality as we comprehend it is but understood through 4 dimensions, i.e. space(x,y,z) and time (though i am aware that space and time is non existent and it is but spacetime) so apart from these dimensions exists an additional 7 that are incomprehensible to the human mind. What form these other realities take, what they would appear like, or even how they can be named is utterly beyond our understanding, our minds being constructed only to give meaning to the 4 already discussed. It is a possibility though, that the idea of spirit (whatsoever understanding you may have of it) is but the expression of another dimension that our mind is not fully able to comprehend.

Sometimes, I wonder if it's true- the false reality. When I was a little girl I would always make up the oddest realitys.

I imagined that I was, and everyone else, was being played with in a big doll house I sometimes see. Like the barbie one, but we would be controlled by people.. ugh, it's so hard to explain. Don't bother with this post!

That's a of the basis of Hinduism and Buddhism the thought that we all live in a dream world and through certain paths we can eventually 'wake up' in a real world. I however don't know if we're in a real world or a false reality. If we are there's nothing we're really able to do to snap out of it. I like to assume that if we're in a dream world or something that we're all pleasantly asleep for some reason we're unaware of. But personally I think the world we live in is real enough that we have to treat it that way.

Interesting question. I'm positive that George Bush and the Republicans are living in some other reality. They have no sense whatsoever so they are definitely unable to see any truth. Plus, they do the "Hear no, Speak no, See no evil" thing.

if you're speaking in words of sweet 16, then sure, for sure that is extremely well to sense free in a faux reality. it really is that part of early existence once you by wonder 'pop' the bubble you reside in and settle for reality it really is how we enhance up. it really is between the prime reviews on your existence that you want in order to stay a healthful existence. besides the indisputable fact that, if you're speaking in words of adulthood, then i do not imagine it really is okay. for sure if the guy is mentally unwell and cant stay in reality, that must be. yet when someone is residing in a international fabricated through themselves it really is risky and perchance even risky. it really is such issues as this (an celebration, international of warcraft, used as an get away from the authentic international) that can make us sense depressed with the authentic international and make us opt to commit suicide.residing in a dream isn't ok, it really is undesirable and is used as an excuse to flee the authentic international, which, sorry to say, we are all residing in.

Yes. The world we live in is material, and the real world that we are meant to live in is the spiritual world. It is our original home. The five senses of taste, touch, hearing, sight, and smell are meant to be used in devotional service towards God. Once we develop a firm faith in practice of such service we will develop love of God, and thusly can we re-attain our original home in the spiritual world with God.

The world we live in is illusionary in the sense that everything is temporary, and we believe that we will get happiness here, but happiness here is temporary and only spiritual happiness is permanent. This idea that we can attain happiness in this material world is hindering us from realizing a spiritiual consciousness and true meaning and purpose of our lives, which is love of God.

We can escape this false reality by learning how to serve and love God, and we can do so by trying to utilize our minds and bodies in the service of God, and to try to learn about God from bonafide spiritual authorities and scriptures.

It could, or it couldn't. Basing on the Allegory of the Cave, one would have to "ascend from the dark," which is usually done through entering the "country from whose bourn no traveller returns" (Shakespeare).

If you live your life based on emotions and opinion, and refuse to look at absolute facts, then yes, you are living in a false reality.
