First...turn your computer off.

Second....box it up and take it back to the store where you bought it.

Third...take it to customer service and politely ask for a refund.

Fourth...explain to them that you are not prepared to have a computer.

The easiest way is to open windows explorer and browse your local drives. Depending on your O/S (Operating System) there are different methods of getting there. The second method would be opening a command prompt and listing your HD contents using DOS commands. Usually the best way to do that is click on START (words in CAPs are menu titles) - RUN - in the open box type cmd and click on OKAY. that will open a dos command prompt. On the command line type cd\ (change directory \ will get you to the root) and hit the enter key. Now type dir/p (directory list by page) and hit the enter key. This will list your files and directories on your HD. Using the GUI Windows Explorer is definitely the easiest method. How you get to it depends on your O/S. If you are using Windows XP, click on START - PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - WINDOWS EXPLORER. Hope this helps you. The link included takes you to a kind of tutorial on the use of Windows Explorer.

Plug it in to your computer and go to my computer. If you want to see what is really on it then get Disk Investigator or something like that and you can actually check out the Hex used when you partition your hard drive.

If you are on a mac, you can download a free program called Disk Inventory X. It gives you a graphical representation of your Hardrive. If you are a PC user, then I can't help you. The file system for PCs is a little weird.
