Ive noticed the best thing you can do is just keep putting a bit of baby lotion on the front part as it will itch like mad....don't shave to soon as your hair might not be long enough and it will hurt! I know it look disgusting but just remember it is there for a reason...to stop dirt and things getting in there that shouldn't be in there...it best to keep it short and 'landing strip' style than not have any at all!x x

You will need to shave once or twice every week. Shaving always causes some stubble. You can buy hydrocortisone cream if your skin starts itching really bad. You can find it at most retail stores. Electric shavers are better than razors for that, because shaving with a razor causes your skin to become more sensitive. An electric shaver doesn't have the same effect.

the itching is cos you shaved all the moisture out of your skin, this happens whenever you shave- you will get used to it eventually so when you shave in the future it will not have you come up in bumps and a rash, but not for a while. (months rather than days) You can put aloe vera cream or the male nivea aftershave balm (even if you are a girl this stuff is still good, on to the itching parts and wear only cotten underwear, it will lessen the itching and it will eventually go away, - until the next time you shave!

You will need to shave each day every day. If you dont you will get stubble, just like on your legs.

If you want my advice? go to a specialist and get a wax. It sounds painful but as long as you dont opt for the whole caboodle- if you get what I mean, its not actually that bad- just make sure the salon is reputable- ask mates and other people, then its less likely to sting as they are used to doing it- please dont get embarrassed, so many people get it done and they wont look at you funny if they do see you in the street. (or you can always take a day trip to another town and have it done there if your really self concious!) Again, you will first get bumps, but as its a less moisture stealing method- the people doing it put on loads of good stuff after to stop any moisture that is lost/put on protective layers of oils and stuff, so your rash will be alot less itchy, alot less "aaaagh" looking and will fade faster. Also you havent got to then go wax every day.

If you find that your itching (when you shave) still continues for more than 7 days or even weeks after, its really likely you have an ingrowing hair. These are a right b*gger to get rid of and a frequent hazard brought about through shaving, it means you will need to wash and exfoliate the area itching every day before shavving- or even if you choose not to shave that day. You will put youself at risk of increasing the itching all over again and have it going on for longer before you body starts producing more body oils to counteract the dryness, but at least in wont be forever in the way an ingrowing hair will be forever- and in addition it wont look like stubble.(an ingrowing hair looks like stubble but infact is not stubble.)

err... i hate to tell u this, but it's gonna itch like hell for the next 3 or 4 days !!! and shaving it more will just make it worse.

u really need a brand new blade and some proper shaving gel to be able to shave 'down there' without getting sore or itchy. trust me - i learnt the hard way !!!

if u want to avoid the itching & shaving rash, try waxing next time.

as for now - i advise that u use a good moisturisor to help with the itching.

You should never shave that area - use wax or cream. Otherwise you're going to be stuck shaving it every day - and just think of the stubble! If you use cream or wax the hairs should grow back softer.

no, it will make the itching worse. I am sorry to say that you will have to shave when you get stubble, and it will keep itching. Tis why I only do my bikini line. FYI- a dab of Neosporin ointment (not cream) will help with the itching and razor burn if you get it. Good luck!

i shaved for a number of years but found i had to shave every 3 days or so and even then it would get so sore like shaving rash, i personally would recommend waxing, it smoother and if you have it done every few weeks you get no re growth.

Yeah it will eventually stop itching (maybe in a couple of days). Also, keep doing it whenever you want. It all depends on your preference.
