Your boss probably didn't fail to take out the taxes, it's that you didn't fill out the form correctly to note the number of dependants or you didn't notice that no taxes were being taken out of your paycheck where it said so on the stub. As to piles of bills, you need to figure out where all your money is going: write everything down that you buy, and figure out where to cut expenses. Like, dial-up is cheaper than dsl, but the library has free internet. As to finding a new job, check out of the library a book called, "What Color is Your Parachute" and it will help you a lot. I'm sorry you're going through all this, but you need to take responsibility for your situation.

Systematically go about this. First make sure you have another job lined up and when that is settled go about giving your two week notice. It's the polite thing and the just response when you decide to leave.

If you don't have a job lined up you will only add more stress and wish you wouldn't have been rash. Sorry to hear it is exhausting you. keep your chin up and keep trudging along till you line up another job for yourself

Try to find a headhunter who specialises in your industry.

They will do a lot of work for you as they only get paid by the employer if their client gets hired.

Costs you zero.
