It is "Lady Marmalade" by Patti La Belle. The song is about a prostitute in New Orleans. The gitchee yaya dada is likely a reference to sex and flirtation. The chocolate, likely refers to the fact that Lady Marmalade" is a darker skinned, exotic woman.

That's is "Lady Marmalade," originally sung by Labelle (Patti Labelle's group) on their album, Nightbirds. The song was covered by Missy Elliott, L'il Kim, Mya, Christina Aguilera and P!nk for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.
Those particular lyrics are just gibberish, they don't actually mean anything, though some of the song's lyrics are in French, not those, though.

This song is Lady Marmalade. I remember hearing it in the mid 70's. I think the singer was Labelle or something like that. Don't know what the words mean but I think it had sexual overtones.

Those arent the words, they are in French and I cant spell them, cuz I dont know French, but someone I know told me it is about a prostitute and her asking a guy if he wants to go to bed with her basically. Patti Labelle did the original in the early 70's and the title is Lady Marmalade. Many have tried, but no one does it like Labelle
