Fire will melt the ice and then the water would put out the fire. but the fire would win over the ice.

Depends on the quantity of both the fire and the ice. Tossing an ice cube onto a burning house will accomplish nothing at all, but puting a 5 pound bag of ice on a camp fire, will surely put the fire out.

i want to say ice, but then again fire melts ice to form water, and when ice and fire come into contact it creates steam..so i guess the real question is: in a fight, who would win: fire, water, or steam ? Frankly, I'm betting on water.

Well...neither really but the ice might have a chance to keep living on though, because the fire would be extinguished but all that would have happened to the ice is that, it would have melted....so if the temperature got cold enough again, the water would freeze and turn into ice again. :)

Fire, because it would melt the ice and then make the water vaporize.
