Some just don't give a darn..it is a job to them and they do it. I worked for the license bureaus for over 7 years and I don't remember ever taking only 1 goofy pic cause that is what the kid wanted! lol I retook them if they were not acceptable by the driver. All it takes is genuine caring.

I took great care for my last one, made sure I had the hair perfect, shirt that looked good and it came back okay, not great but okay. I think it depends on how close up they are. But I also think the pictures they take at the gym for a membership card are worse. Yikes, I look like I just woke up in that one. Too bad they can't just use a fingerprint! ha ha

Actually my driver's license picture is my favorite picture.
But here they buy EXPENSIVE cameras.

I actually had a good picture once and I was mad when I had to surrender it when I moved to another state. of course the new picture was horrible.

No, they dont. It isnt the people or the cameras falt. It is the persons falt who is getting their picture taken because they are the ones with the dull look on their face and not smiling.

I have actually wondered this before, and they also have the worst background colour, so unflattering on everyone.
