Oh, I would also rather ride my bike than be stuck in an office on a sunny day....

My advice to you is decide which you love the most: the out of doors or sitting at a desk all day and doing accounting. I do not see the two mixing to any extent.

My husband has a business degree and then decided that he is too active to sit at a desk all day. He prefers to work outdoors. I am just the opposite.

You could do accounting part time or trying to do it for a "green" firm or agency. You'll have to find out what works out best for your own personally.

Get a job at the National Park Service. You'll get a chance to travel if you wish to any national park. They pay great and there's great benefits. This definately is helping society by preserving our natural resources. Go to www.usajobs.gov

Wouldn't we all rather be riding our bikes than sitting at a desk? However, the truth is that accounting is notoriously a 'desk job" and even if you got a job as an accountant at an bike company or a health club, you will be a desk jockey.

Environmental Compliance - Large corporations have departments in charge of making sure they are following environmental laws in the manufacture, distribution and disposal of product materials. Personnel have to visit facilities, test, and otherwise measure and gauge compliance.

Environmental Engineering - You could be a checker of soil, air and water content for a private company.

girl, we all would rather be some place other that work on a nice day, my advice is to do some serious research, find out what fields your education would be best suited for then go from there. don't do anything your not happy with or you'll regret it later. good luck
