Substitute 'learning' for education - which is what education is all about anyway and if humankind had learned nothing we should not have developed at all - we learned to communicate, make fire, the wheel, farm, etc. etc. Learning comes from innate curiosity which we are born with. Formal education - right or wrong - is man made. Many countries in the world still have no formal education but people still learn!

Still living in tribes killing each other over who owns what patch of land.
Actually isn't that how the world is now except on a bigger scale-countries not tribes.
Hmmmm maybe education isn't that good after all.

I think it's possiable that we would only be about 100 years behind the present day. There are always guna people who are increadiably knowledgable who gain information from other sources apart from schooling. But are you implying though that without education that Books, being able to write and technology wouldn't exsist?

Education is 'learning' - everything we do is learnt, that is education.
Caveman 'learns' that it hurts when hit with a stick - "Hey buddy, did you know that this hurts ?" - he has just educated another.
What would you eat if you didn't learn how to hunt and catch your prey ?
From you, others learn - it's still going on today.

with no tele or computer or any sort of comunication device no cars or transport
a little learning can be a dangerous thing but once we had a thirst for knowlage sometime shortly after we learned to build fires we "learned" how to dream and since then we havent stopped
so live your way if you want to personly i would rather keep my fire to dream by

we would be no where. without education, there would be no technology or improvment on earth. philosiphers, or "lovers of wisdom", like aristotle, socrates and pythagoreas would not exist to teach us simple things like communication or basic math skills! without education, earth would basically start developing backwards.
