i went through the same thing.
once it happened that i got no periods for 10 months at a stretch. and that was when i was 15.
i started taking some food supplements to substitute for any missing nutrient in my diet.
result was that now i have very regular periods with no complications.
i would suggest you to check your diet and see if you are missing on VITAMIN -E and other nutrients .
in that case start takink vitamin -e pills available in the market.
Also try to limit spicy and oily food till you get your periods.
Other possibility is that you might be suffering from hormonal imbalance for which you must consult a gyno.

If its been 6 months and you went to the doctor recently, then accept their answer. If that was an answer from awhile back, then call the nurse at the doctor's office and ask her/him. They can look up your chart and ask the doctor - saving you a doctor's visit. She may tell you to come in.
If you have irregular periods read up about PCOS (polycycstic ovarian syndrome) by doing a websearch and also your thyroid could be out of balance. Simple blood tests could find out.

Age limits you are depicting 6 months is not always an abnormal finding More than likely it is something simple as hormones etc, also joggers often do not have regular periods. But since you ask the question it obviously bothers you and that in itself is reason enough to seek a second opinion form a qualified gyn doctor

Drink Indian Mulberry fruit juice to correct the harmonal imbalance. It is a herbal fruit juice no side effects and no habit forming. Drink for about 6 months twice a day.

ONE OF MY FRIEND MENSTRUATED IN OCTOBER 2006 AND THE NEXT WAS DIRECTLY IN FEB 2007 AND THAT TOO AFTER TAKING SOME MEDICINES SUGGESTED BY THE DOCTOR. MY DEAR RELAX AND CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING POSSIBILITIES SERIOUSLY:
POSSIBILITY 1>
U HAVE JUST BEGAN MANSTRUATING SO ITS NORMAL TO NOT HAVE IT FOR A FEW NEXT MONTHS.
STATUS>
CALM DOWN AND RELAX.
POSSIBILITY 2>
IF U R FAT I MEAN AN OBESE PERSON AND HAVEN'T MENSTRUATED FOR MONTHS.
STATUS>
IT MAY BE SO THAT U MAY HAVE THYROID AND SO GO TO DOCTOR. A GYNO.
WOMEN STOP MENSTRUATING WHEN THEY R PREGNANT BUT U R SURELY NOT SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT AT ALL.
GO TO A DOCTOR AND GET SOME ESSENTIAL PILLS. IT WOULD HELP.
ASK YOUR MOM FOR MORE HELP.

If you are a person that has just started having periods in the last year or so, then this is normal....if you are still not having a period after a year, I would go back to the GYN and have him or her do some lab work....

if you have definatly rule out the possibility that you may be pregnant then you have to consider the other possibilities like are you on a contriceptive injection implant or coil as all of these can make you not have a period at all or just a very light one, then theres the chance of polycystic ovaries this condition can make your periods irregular or dissapear completly and affect fertility or theres the possibility of stress this can make you go either way not have one at sll or constantly bleed look at your lifestyle and your options and the answer may be there

How plenty do you workout? what's your bodyweight? Are you very low in physique fat, simply by fact a large number of actual women human beings athletes don't get their sessions simply by fact of a condition called Amenorrhea. conventional Amenorrhea is once you have in no way had a era earlier and you're of age to have one. i'm assuming this is not any longer that and which you have had them earlier and purely no longer now. the different one is named secondary Amenorrhea, and that's once you have sessions yet then without notice end having a nicely-known era. it could take place simply by fact of severe workout or no longer taking in sufficient energy. it would purely be rigidity. rigidity would reason you to end having sessions too. yet you will desire to confirm a doctor simply by fact Amenorrhea would reason low means and susceptible bones, so please so a doctor and get clinically determined and then dealt with simply by fact even in spite of the indisputable fact that sessions and gross and messy, this is important which you have them.

I am the same way and I'm 23. Going on the pill will help regulate your period, but for me, we were trying to get pregnant, and it's kind of hard to do that when you aren't getting your period! My doctor put me on Provera which is not the pill, but it helps to regulate your period. The pill would be your best bet though.
