Oh he did, but do you *know* how many freaking *trees* there are in the jungle? o_o LOTS. "That" tree was never the same exact tree twice, trust me.
Not to mention....concussions suck when it comes to remembering things, he was likely screwed up after the first collision with the tree. After that...well, you tell me, how many hard shots to the head *does* it take to make you see double? ^_^

Just kind of a general update, he wasn't the smartest Ape in the jungle... In fact he was kind of like me with except with a buff body flying thru the air.
