I just got a new monitor, a Sceptre 22 inch with resolution 1620 by 1050 i think. My old monitor was a samsung 17inch 1280 by 1084. when i try to change the resolution from the 1280 x 1024 to the new resolution that fits my current monitor, its just not there. the closest i have is 1400 x 1050 and it is distorted. I want to know is there any way i can download the resolution format to my computer so i can view it right!

Hi. Your monitor is a widescreen model with a 1680 x 1050 resolution. Some distortion is normal when a normal format image is displayed. Try a DVD to check that in WS mode the image is good.

try updating your video card driver. or maybe your video card doesn't support higher resolutions. if that's the case you will need to purchase a new video card.
