= log(base 4) (3 x 8 / 6)
= log(base 4)4
= 1.

since all bases are the sameyou can comine the #'s
log(base 4)(3*8/6)
log(base 4)4
what power can you put on 4 to get 4? 1

Remember that
log(base a) of b =log(b)/log(a) so
(log(3) + log(8) - log(6))/log(4) = 1

You have to use the difference of to logs. for the last part.
you know M-N = M/N

it would be log *4* 8/6

well i dont really understand what the question is asking but mayb you have to multiply the first 2 numbers then add the product of the next two numbers then substract the product of the last 2 numbers.
