You liar. If you were going to have surgery SOON, the doctors assigned to your case would have made sure your wife was already aware. There would have been a lot of counseling and psychological prep work.

and for the rude asshole above me... that isnt true!!! spouses do NOT have to be privy to that information...i had a substitute in high school who had a sex change and he didnt tell his wife until it was done and over she thought he went to a conference and then to visit his folks for a while so feed your bullshit somewhere else
