Why when you take a picture of someone, the person looks bigger then in person? Is there any tricks to not look so fat in a picture?

For those who want to answer in a mean way about loosing weight, it has nothing to do with being fat and it is not me I am talking about, It goes for everone that I take pictures of. I was just wondering.

Yes it has something to do with possing ,lighting ,and the distant of camera. I don't know very much about digital camera yet. I took a photo shoots of a friend with her digital camera and it is good but I am slow. Ps. You are very pretty I can take a photo of you in a bikini and you will like it...

All photos of beautiful ladies you see on the cover of magazines are messed with in photoshop, it's actually impossible to have bodies like them in reality.
And you can also look strange in photos because the zoom level makes you wider. And the angle the photo is take from matters, light and color of background also.

It's called a Digital Camera Sweety.

Well you need to learn how to use it then, You can shape those types of pictures any way you want if you know how.

Look in the mirror, and find poses that seem to make you look slimmer, then try to stand that way when the cameras come out. My sister in law always does that, and I asked her why once. I never would've thought of that.

Film, as in professional movie film, does add a couple of pounds to a persons look. This is why REALLY thin actors look perfect on screen.

No, The only other thing is some people are photo jenik and other people aren't you just can't explain things, its just like how can cell phones see the light coming out of the remote, when we can't see it or something like that. Its really unexplainable.
