My ME is connecting to the internet, but I cannot open my browser. I've tried a few things.. changing configurations.. etc. but the browser still doesn't open. Do you think there's a possibility that there's something wrong with my hard drive?
Some people say that ME Operating System is not a good platform for programs.. is this true? Do I have to switch to XP instead? What if I do and the internet still doesn't work? Does this mean I have to buy a new CPU? I need answers ASAP. Thank you to those who will give their expert opinion.

From my expertise Windows ME is not very good product and quiet unstable. Drives in system mestup and no wonder that you have problem. If you have modem with vendor drivers, try to reinstall drivers , and if this does not help contact modem's vendor.
