for 2 girls, but not 2 guys?
Not everyone will agree on this, but it seems to me this is true... why?

i believe erinc was going somewhere before she started talking about penises.
It's my belief that people are able to accept two women because they have been depicted in literature since before medieval times. I've read many stories where witches are "having fun" with each other, and in that time era...it was very verry wrong but it was written about.
For two men, however, it really wasn't written about. It was common for the "evil female" to go astray, but men were thought to be the ones to uphold beliefs and practices.
Other then literature...I say society just hasn't gotten around to it yet, and it will be a while before they do. Thanks to Will and Grace, Christina Aguilara, and Ellen Degeneres, two men will be more acceptable much sooner then without those icons.
Have you seen the music video "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilara? I think it was possibly her best one, and it really opened up our culture a little bit more into accepting gltb people.
As far as "flacid penises" (to quote miss erinc), that's a matter of preference. Personally, I think it's about time to start "up-grading" our culture a little bit, eh?

Im sorry but the first 2 people that answer are wrong. Just because it doesn't looks better isn't why gay sex isn't view the same as lesbian sex.
1) First of all in our society women are objectified. Magazines, movies, tv shows and books focus on the female body. Society puts out the image that women are objects of desire.
2) Men grow up believe that they have to be tough and not show any weakness but cause they are strong individuals. They have to prove to the world that they are the ALPHA MALE, whether its driving a fancy car, having a lot of money or have women want you. That is the all American ideal man. So generally in sex it has to be the same way. Gay sex isn't like that these roles change and people aren't used to seeing them.

People can't imagine 2 guys together when they think about sex, when one is the top and the other the bottom... Stupid biggots I say, 2 guys are as great as 2 girls are there's nothing wrong with it.

It depends on who you are talking to. Some people are not fine with same-sex sex no matter the gender. Some people are fine with two girls, but that is mostly straight men and gay woman. And of course it is usually gay men that are fine with seeing two men together. But again it depends on the person you are talking to!

Because a lot of straight men believe that it is 'sexy' for 2 women. However, they automatically believe that 2 men are disgusting. They are wrong. Homosexuality is homosexuality, and there is nothing wrong with it.

a bi girl once told me it's because of the penetration. I disagree. I think that it's unsexy enough if just one guy is there. We just aren't very attractive creatures. Women on the other hand, unless they are of the bull dyke type, are very nice to look at and it's very sexy to see them together.

I think that it is because two girls turn on straight guys while two guys usually do not turn on girls. It is a macho thing.

Well in today's society, two women together just look more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than 2 men. Women have voluptuous breasts and all the good fun female parts, whereas men have floppy, flacid penises. Unfortunately, penises just arent attractive things. Anything that spits out white fluid like a super soaker is icky to me. But it really just all depends on the person and their likes and dislikes...that's all.

Girls are brought up different, they can expess emotions, hug each other platonically. Yet, boys have to emulate men who don't show emotions, shake hands thats it.

two guys is just fine with me..in fact, preferred...It not only SEEMS fine, it is great. And as far as looks go, I disagree entirely with some of the answers...I prefer ...greatly prefer to see well muscled hard bodies going at it than floppy sagging body parts. And penises that are flacid are not men who are hot...I have no idea what some of these people have seen, or where they have been, but certainly not to my house..nothing is flacid here :-)
