If you go by what the White House does then Getting troops killed on extended tours for little reward = Support.
Trying to bring troops home to their families alive and healthy = treason and desertion of the troops. If your not willing to sacrifice the young men and women of this country in the name of the President, then you are giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

First of all, there is NO PAY CUT! The military pay scale is approved and funded and no cut is planned.

As for extending their stay, that is a tactic to try and overcome the shortfall of personnel. Recruiting in the military has fallen so much that troop levels can't be maintained without extending deployments. Imagine that! People not willig to go into an unjust war? How dare they!

No it's not, but that's what happens when you choose a Democratically run congress and senate.. They can't make a wise decision based on the needs of our military, instead they use their money and power hungry agenda's get in the way to make Bush (Republican) look like the bad guy so they can gain total control...
