It sounds as if your guppies are aborting the pregnancy for whatever reason. Possibly this is related to the water quality. Have you tested your water for ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate?

I've cut my guppy losses ever since I started adding non-iodized salt to my tanks about 15 years ago. I use 1 tablespoon for every 5 gallons of water. Salt won't hurt the guppies at all - in fact, if you add the salt slowly enough, they can live in full-strength seawater. If there's an ammonia, nitrite, or parasite problem, the salt will help with these. (although you should still do 20-30% water changes each week)

Okay if the abdomen has a black spot there is probably babies inside. If it changes to pink fast then that black spot was just poop.

But if the guppy had the babies then she would be near the top of the tank for several days before birth. Also there is a possibility that if she had the babies that they were eaten. There should be some that escapes to the bottom of your tank, look closely at the rocks on the bottom.

Good luck
