I'm 5' also. I find it easier to go to the "petite" section of whatever store I go into shopping for clothes.
Please don't get "down" because of your stature. I have said this many times - "what I lack in quantity, I make up in quality".
I feel just as "big" as the next person.
Everyone has their faults and foibles regardless of their size.

im 5"0 too I HATE IT!! all the pants i try on are too long bc they have like a 32'' inseam and i can fit a 29'' inseam! most shirts for me are to low in th neck line like if its a scoopneck shirt. but at some places like american eagle and aeropostale they have short pants that are a 30'' inseam so they fit better! so now i buy my pants from there bc they carry my size, 0short! try shopping there! kohls has some clothes too that come in short sizes! hope this helps! =)

I also can't find jeans that fit right, long skinny legs and big hips can't seem to find tight legged jeans that fit

my friends shop in either the junior or kids section for clothes
if your an adult go to Petites thats where my mom goes she's your height

maybe because you are right in the middle. Try shopping at places that adults shop in too. I am 5"3 and I usually get clothes that are a little bigger than me so I can grow into them .Try doing that!

You might still have to go to kids section but dont worry, you sound young and if you are a teenager, you'll still grow, dont worry. Plenty of time left, you have like 6-8 years left until you stop growing

5'2". And the kids' section doesn't work when you have boobs.
BTW, the official line is because it's easier for us shorties to hem things up than it is for tall people to let things out. Which doesn't help much if the waistline on a dress runs around my hips.

First of all its how TALL are you and I am 5"4, if you are that tall, any store you go in, just ask them where the petite section is....JC Penny's and Macy's has really big petite sections. Good Luck : )

If your clothes are too long on you, you can just alter them :3 Fold the fabric under to desired length and sew along the edge.
