I personnally am 13 and have never done it in my life, but i have stumbled upon questions where 99% of people say you should do it.
i just want to know, how many of the people who read this post have done it, and, (although i am a bit embarrassed to ask this...) isnt it kinda messy =S
i am just a bit confused about the whole thing lol

lol i would guess that pretty much every1 on here, male n female have dun it at some point, n its not as messy as u mite think. just hav a towel handy!!!

If you wanna know my true story i started doing it when i was in grade 3 or 4 i diddnt ejackulate but i i did feel pleasure im 13 years old b day jan 14 and i do it about 2-3 times a day 1 in the shower 1 in the bed and 1 on the computer lol

I can honestly say that I didn't start until I was 19. I don't know why I didn't before. I guess I had no inclination. Sure, it can be messy, but it is a way for you to learn about your own sexuality and is a perfectly natural, human thing.

If you are unsure of the how's and why's then there are lots of books,even websites that can help you.
Talk to your friends or if your up to it,your mother/father.
If you have no-one to talk to then there are websites that can help you or read books refering to teenagers and growing up,there will be lots of information in them for you.
I really dont think this is the place for you to find out such things as some people are not honest in their answer's and this will just add to your confusion.
The only thing i can say about masturbation is that its perfectly normal,especially in growing teens as yourself.

I've done it for years and don't plan to quit any time soon!
It isn't any messier than sweating heavily when you do sports or dropping jelly on your hand.
And it definitely feels incredibly fine, like nothing else in the world!
And it's especially hot when you can share it with a friend!

It's natural, it's healthy, and in many ways it's good for you.
Yes it is messy because you're ejaculating but as long as you have tissues handy it isn't a problem.
And for future reference - a sexually mature body is much messier to look after than when you're young. Sex is one of the messiest things we're capable of doing.

it's an uncomfortable question to ask your parents but if you want to ask them, don't hesitate at all. It's understandable that you're curious/confused and have questions so don't feel bad about it.

Its a natural occurance, speak to your parents, or someone you feel you are able to ask this sort of question. sexual maturity is a natural part of growing up. good luck
