Is anybody else happy Brady Quinn went to the Browns? I was mad when we didn't pick him up at 3rd then when we got in at 22 my dad called me and I flipped.

Excellent use of the draft by the Browns. They got there QB and don't have to pay him 3rd pick money. Plus they got a monster lineman who will be all-pro for years to come. Good job Cleveland.

Don't know that I'm happy about it. I would liked to have seen Detroit pick him up. But probably a good move for Cleveland, very shrewd. And as much as I love Brady Quinn (I don't care how you weasels take that--he's even cuter than his sister, admit it!), he probably can use some of the humility that does with not being picked higher than 22. That look of dejection and disappointment while waving his new Brown's cap said a lot. I don't want to see him beaten up by the fans and the press, but it will make a better ballplayer out of him. His arm is awesome! I don't know anyone with bigger triceps than biceps! The question is, how effective will he be without Samardzija at the receiving end?

I think it wasn't a bad pick at 22, however, we still need an offensive line. No mater who is in that backfield without a line those people are going to fail.I would have drafted all offensive. linemen. Next year I would draft all defense players. You might be surprised what the guys could do if these needs were taken care of.Charlie Frey needs a couple more years or Anderson with a better than average line. They have the receivers and running backs to have a great offense. I may be wrong, but I don't think so. You don't build a team in a year, that's why it was important to get as many linemen as possible.Could be 3yrs away from being really good.

I am delighted that the Browns selected Brady Queer. I was scared to death the Houston Texans might do something really stupid and draft him. Thank god they didn't.

I am delighted cleveland drafted an over hyped average quarterback who will be playing back - up in 4 years., and wasted their number 1 pick next year.

The Cleveland Browns won't be in the playoffs anytime soon...not in the foreseeable future or the next 4 years. No way in hell.

I am very happy he is picked and in the process, the pressure is off of him to perform very well at the start of his NFL Career. And I will make a prediction:

This year - Cleveland will finish 8-8 or 9-7 with going to the playoffs in 2008!

im extremely mad Brady went to the Browns with the 22nd pick. If they wanted him they should've taken him 3rd. But I guess now he's with them... GO BROWNS!!!! And Miami is officially the most idiotic team in the NFL!

Great deal Quinn is this years number 2 pick. Now if we can swing a deal for one of these young runningbacks like Turner or Johnson. Dallas might just start to wonder when next years number one will be :D

I cant agree that it was a "Great move" to pick him 22nd over 3rd. There is no way they would have known he would still be available that late.
And the part about saving money by not paying him 3rd pick money...how many game have been won by your 3rd pick O-line man?

Stupid!! They were lucky to get them both. Go Irish!

yes. but i wouldnt have given up this years 2nd round pick and next years 1st round pick. If you guys dont win at least 8 games, the Cowboys get your pick as well as theirs.

Quinn is overrated even at the 22nd pick. He wouldn't even last a year in the SEC.
