Yes. We had a prescence at our home that eventually everyone experienced. It wasnt really upsetting, just a little strange. We called the people we had bought the house from and asked how the family was. It turned out, their youngest child, who was confined to a psychiatric hospital, had been killed by another patient. It had happened at the same time our experience started. We called in a lady who was known for her psychic abilitites. She walked through the house and told us she saw a boy at the end of the hallway. She said he wanted to know what we had done to his house. She also said he loved music and meant us no harm. We were told to start talking to him and telling him to cut out the nonsense. We felt a little funny at first, but we did it and eventually,we didnt have any more lights going on and off etc.We still live in the house by the way.

All the time. My house has a spirit who moves things around and we get black orbs dropping down from the ceiling. Also we have a few cold spots in the living room it got so cold i had to move my computer desk from the corner of the room. I like it though as its never done my family any harm, i like the fact that we arent the only people living here. The funny thing is my cat can see it but hes not freaked out at all by it!!

Wow! What a question! I had never believed in such things, and I always thought that if they really did exist, then I wouldn't be able to see, hear, or feel them, because my mind wasn't open to such things. But one night I was at my boyfriend's house, I was stone cold sober, my boyfriend was sitting on the couch in the living room, I was brushing my hair in the mirror in his bedroom, and I saw someone walk by the bedroom in the reflection of the mirror. I called for my boyfriend only to find that he had fallen asleep on the couch. Then I started to realize things that meant it couldn't have been him, and no one else was in the house. The person had been walking toward the living room, not from it, and he was taller and skinnier than my b.f. He also wore a crazy hat and scarf that my b.f. doesn't own and would never wear.
I was so afraid that my b.f. would think I was crazy, but he said he believed that I did see someone, as he had felt things and strange things had happened there before and he had never told me because he didn't want me to freak out.
I got soo freaked out, I am even getting chills writing about it now. Luckily, he doesn't live there anymore.

Yes,but I just went back to sleep though my younger sister did not.As children (4 or 5 y.o) we went to visit our grandmother. We slept in the same room in which our grandfather hung himself. We had no idea about what had happened there nor did we ever hear about "ghosts".My sister woke up crying during the night saying she saw "the white man".I did not make much out of it but I also saw something like a big puff of smoke.Neither one of us was terrified. My sister was always my grandfather's favourite perhaps she could "see" more than I did.Later when we knew about ghosts we put 2+2 together and also found out that that was the room our grandfather hung himself in.Our grandmother moved out of that house in the same year for no obvious reasons (to us).Ever since then I do believe. My sister also had an experience in later life after her husband (my brother-in-law) committed suicide. This time she (and her kids) saw items moving/knocking(as if her husband was trying to draw attention to his "presence") and things like that.Believe it or don't.It's true !

When my first wife died, several weeks later I saw her standing in the living room in a full dress looking out the front window. I saw her from the den on the second level. I viewed the side of her looking out towards the road. She was not looking at me. Perhaps it was my mind projecting it or maybe she was able to appear so I would know she was ok.

Yes, well felt a presence. My 1 year old daughter had a visit from her recently deceased grandfather( I think) it was on the day of his funeral and my daughter did not attend, she was sitting up in bed talking late at night and she said she was talking to grandad, the room was cold and there was a glow in the corner, I felt frightened but my daughter was not, it was a chilly experience but I felt glad my daughter was not scared and he had come to say goodbye to her as it has not happened again.

Yes. I was v. young- 7 or 8.
At first I thought it was a robber or something. So i hid under my blanket, like all young kids do. It stayed there for ages, staring at my mirror. I didnt think it was an intruder anymore, a ghost. Remembered it vividly ever since.

Yes, as a young teen living in a disfunctional household, (early'70's) we had a lot of paranormal activity, it was attributed to three young teens living in the home. My mother has recently admitted to seeing and observing paranormal acitivty that she denied in those days. She was frightened and trying to protect her children. However since i have grown (a lot) older and raised my own family i have to admit to wondering about group hysteria, etc. and maybe just wanting to ignore and not admit to anyone what went on as a child.
