You need to finalize the recording. This should be an option in most burning software.

If it is recorded as DVD-R format it should be able to be read by any DVD drive.

It is only DVD-RW that you would have problems reading the DVD in another computer. Double check the DVD in the computer you burned it on and see if it is really DVD-R or -RW.

nothing really ... it should read in any compatible player but if u run into a picky player try closing the session / disk, when u burn it ..
