1 month ago i brought a laptop from ebay for £330, i dicovered it was faulty so i sent it back.
the seller told me he would send me £200 first then would have to generate the funds. i got the £200 but it had been about 2 weeks and i did not get the rest back;

so i opened up a paypal dispute. the seller then open a dispute on me for a refund of the £200. on my paypal account it now says -£200 (negative). the status is "placed" and the type is "temporary hold".

WHAT SHOULD I DO, HAS THE £200 GONE BACK TO HIS ACCOUNT

yes, it has gone back to his account. You will have to contact paypal and prove that you returned the laptop and show any emails between you and the seller.

But just to let you know it will not be settled very fast. It could take 3 to 6 months to get it resolved. Sorry about that.
