That sounds like the stuff I grew up with, believe it or not, in church. We were taught that all people are sinners, not just people unlike us, but that we all are alike in that problem and all are alike in the hope of redemption by God through Jesus Christ. We were taught to discern evil influences and stay away from them. We were taught in the 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you' that you help others. Do I accept Rachel's Challenge? I'm not signing up for her program but essentially have been trying to do these things at every opportunity for decades now.
