I can't find an offical USA coin with US Grant on the obverse.

The US Mint just started a program of minting coins for all deceased US Presidents. They will be issuing 4 $1 coins a year until all deceased presidents are honored. That means that Grant's coin will be issued in 2011. If all currently living presidents and future presidents survive until 2015, then the last two coins issued will be for Presidents Ford and Reagan.

However, here are commemorative Grant coins. One of them might be the one you are referring to.
