I know its hilarious, but some parts were stupid and just didnt click.

Both. It's supposed to be so completely inane and stupid that it ends up being funny. I'll agree that some parts are just stupid and not funny at all, though.
I enjoyed it the first time I watched it, but the jokes have been run into the ground.

In my mind "edgy". The movie was about fringe people, are like all of us and less so are popular people. Neopolean thought outside the box-- yielded great rewards of individuality, also did his brother kip. Alot of famous people came from very similar circumstances for example: Cher, bill gates, michael J Fox,Prince, The Kill Bill (producer) Anyway the people that seem weird to the rest of us sometimes are unique and slow bloomers!
